"Hi there! My name is Misha Ghafouri and I am the founder of Iranian Youth Connetions, thank you so much for checking out my website. I am 16 years old from Phoenix, Arizona and am going into my Junior year. Outside of school I enjoy participating in Speech and Debate, my high school tennis team, and various charity groups including Girl Scouts, SWIFT Youth Foundation, and National Charity League. I also enjoy reading thriller books, biking with friends, and playing with my dog Bailey.

Through Iranian Youth Connections I hope to meet other passionate Iranian teenagers, learn more about our culture, and deconstruct negative stereotypes about the Middle East. I hope to rewrite a new narrative for Iranian teenagers to learn from; one that is inspring and empowering.
